Hi there, my name is Aaron and welcome to Sigma Life Coaching. If you have a moment, I’d like to tell you a little about myself, my journey and life experiences. Spending over two decades of my life serving the public, my career has taken me down some very interesting paths. From finding success and fulfilment as a personal trainer, working with charity organisations helping rehabilitating drug addicts, dealing with people with mental and physical disabilities. From working with homeless people off the street to millionaire business owners and everything in between. These incredibly varied interactions have given me a wealth of knowledge and in-the-trenches experience with thousands of real people from all walks of life.
All this has given me a valuable and unique skill, to be able to communicate and connect with anyone, no matter what their background. I found over the years it became less about fitness and strength but more about balance and wellness. Clients shared many personal stories about their lives from births to deaths, happiness to grief, marriage to divorce, jokes to business and much more. I feel my journey has led me down this path towards life coaching.
Quite simply, I find it very rewarding to help people and see them improve in all aspects of their lives. Of course I can only take you as far as I have come myself, beyond that is up to you, but for now we will focus on what we can improve and change for the better. So if you are ready to take the first step, let’s start with a simple question. What’s on your mind?
Life coaching is a profession that focuses on helping people make progress in their lives in various areas such as personal development, career, relationships, health, wealth, and overall well-being and balance. Life coaches work with clients to identify their goals, aspirations, challenges, and then support them in taking action and implementing strategies to achieve those goals
One thing to keep in mind is that life coaching is not therapy, life coaches are not clinical psychiatrists or psychologists. The difference is, while a therapist deals with trauma and issues from a person’s past, a life coach is focused on a person’s present and future. Although a life coach may explore certain aspects of their clients past that are relevant to their current goals, their main emphasis is on moving forward, planning and taking action to create the life they desire.
Overall Its a collaborative effort, life coach and client must work together to achieve maximum results. There is potential in everyone, so the aim is to find ways to unlock that potential and turn a vision into a reality. This is achieved by empowerment, encouragement, goal setting, critical thinking, problem solving and some good old fashioned hard work. The ultimate result is creating a meaningful and fulfilling life aligned with the clients values and aspirations.
